The Starvilla is a victorian terrace house built in the 1870. It has many beautiful period features, high ceilings, cornices raw iron staircase. Warm and friendly, family run home within walking distance to the city centre and all major attractions. We serve freshly cooked breakfast every morning. Most of our rooms have views of Edinburgh castle.

Staff and the City

Our friendly staff can give you advice on your Scottish vacation; for advice on train times to the Highlands, Highland tours, or Glasgow and the West Coast. We are also committed to helping you with your stay in Edinburgh as well. We can give you insider tips on the best place for a traditional Haggis, pint of Edinburgh Ale, or the best seat to order a Scottish Whisky.

Edinburgh is host to a number of festivals during the year, the largest being the Fringe Festival in August.
