We are located in the heart of Edinburgh, a 5 minutes walk from our vibrant Grass Market area with it superb shops and restaurants and Princes Street, Edinburgh castle, Scottish National Galleries and Museums, the famous Royal Mile are all within walking distance. Also nearby are the Kings Theatre and the Cameo Picturehouse/Bar, both offering nightly shows and movies catering to all audiences.
If you like the outdoors, the newly revamped Edinburgh Canals offer a lovely sunday afternoon walk among local wildlife - host to a family of friendly swans - and public parks and boat rides. And end your walk at one of the many coffee shops and bars at the far end of the canal, overlooking our back porch!
When you visit Edinburgh you will realise there is so much to see you will have to return.

Golf Courses
If your coming for a Scottish Golf vacation, the surrounding areas have some of the finest golf courses with friendly club houses and affordable green fees. But your golf vacation can start within walking distance of the Starvilla at the Bruntsfield Links, just a few minutes walk from our guest house. The Bruntsfield Links is a great golf course in the heart of Edinburgh overlooking Edinburgh Castle. And when your done enjoy a pint at the nearby Golf Tavern.
